Orange County, Calf.- – Today Diane Dixon announced the endorsement of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association (HJTA) PAC in her campaign for State Assembly. HJTA-PAC is the largest taxpayer protection organization of its kind in the State of California.
One of the most noteworthy endorsements among political candidates in California, the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association PAC is widely considered the standard of which candidates are judged on their tax protection values.
“I’m honored to be endorsed by the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association PAC,” said Diane Dixon. “California stands as one of the most anti-taxpayer states in the entire nation. Protecting Prop 13 is vital to the sustainability of our state and something I take very seriously. My opponent has refused to oppose this year’s Proposition 15, a direct attack on the core protections of Prop 13 and one of the largest increases in California history. This is why we need a new representative. The voters will never have to guess where I stand. I support Prop 13 and the taxpayers it protects.”
The election for the 74th District is sure to be one of the most competitive campaigns in the 2020 election cycle with the district being one of the few Republican majority districts currently represented by a Democrat.
The 74th Assembly District is home to the cities of Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods, Newport Beach, and portions of Irvine.
