ORANGE COUNTY, CA – – Diane Dixon announced receiving the endorsement of Senator John Moorlach in her campaign for State Assembly. Senator John Moorlach represents the overlapping Senate District 37th District. The 74th Assembly District is entirely nested inside the Senate District.
Senator John Moorlach issued a strong endorsement of Diane Dixon, “The COVID-19 pandemic and the shutdown of our economy has California on the brink of financial disaster. This isn’t a problem the legislature can tax its way out of. We are going to need bold leaders willing to take action to keep our state on the path to economic recovery. Diane has real ideas and she has a real record of results. I need leaders like Diane working with me in the State Legislature to help reduce the tax burden on California’s families and businesses and spur job growth; that’s why she has my support.”
Senator John Moorlach is one of the most highly regarded tax experts in the California legislature. Before entering into politics Senator Moorlach worked in the private sector as a Certified Public Accountant and Financial Advisor. He was later appointed and twice elected as Orange County’s Treasurer/Tax Collector and County Supervisor where he was a champion for reforming Orange County’s unfunded tax liability.
